“I think TradingView is the easiest platform to use. Also, you can easily code your own indicators and it is also the platform that many other traders use to create and share their indicators. It is bug-free the vast majority of the time. If you are looking for a feature, it more than likely has it.
The only time I had a problem with it was when I was trying to place 2 distinct trades on the same symbol. Rather than being able to configure the trade so that each had their own distinct stops and exits, it would only combine them into one trade. This may be user error on my part, but I searched online as to how to accomplish this, but couldn't find the answer. I changed my strategy and it isn't even something I need anymore. At the time I tried using other platforms that allowed me to do that, but they were so much clunkier or harder to use than tradingview so I switched back and looked for a different way to trade rather than abandon TradingView.”
“The good: TV drawing tools are better than everything out there, and that's worth something. Also, I like watch lists.
The bad: the platform has a lot of glitches. Not uncommon to lose toolbars for no reason. The OCO management works but is not intuitive.”
“I use trading view for Charting and mostly executing my trades. The broker has a seamless integration and feed and experience almost no issues. A few activated indicators like EMA and Volume struggle to integrate but definitely a recommended for those outthere that are comfortable with the Trading view UI and platform.”
“I lost $4000 when I attempted to move a stop and profit at 2:00 pm. Once I moved the stop I was locked out. I could not place a new stop or profit. I could only watch my trade drop until AMP triggered a Stop when my balance was reduced to nothing.”
