With the PolarStar UGS™ (Universal Gas Stock) you can now get the performance advantage of a HPA system without needing to be tethered to a remote air rig and still retain the likeness and function of a traditional adjustable AR-15 stock. It can be used with any of the PolarStar cylinder conversion kits such as the F2™, F1™ or JACK™ and is compact enough that it can also be used with other similar HPA cylinder systems on the market.
The UGS™ features an integral regulator which follows the same design as the highly regarded PolarStar Micro Reg and delivers the same lightening fast performance. This regulator has a output pressure range of 40-130psi which is easily adjusted using a 3/32 allen key but can be locked out using a standard chrono zip tie which blocks the adjustment screw.
The HPA version of this system is designed to accept 13ci HPA tanks and R3 buttstock (included) but it can be reconfigured for additional gas input options to include PolarStar UGS CO2 Inserts and Mil-Spec diameter HPA cylinders. Alternatively, you can select 12g or 33g, which do not come with the stock, but allow for you to use standard milspec stocks.
The Type 1 is designed for use with M4 series AEG receivers that accept threaded buffer tubes such as the G&P R3 series.   Please be aware that the Elite Force 416A5 does not work natively.  It will require rethreading of your receiver to properly fit.  This is where the buffer tube itself threads into the receiver. (Modification of the gearbox is required)The Type 2 is designed for use with traditional TM Spec M4 series AEG receives. This is where the buffer tube slides onto a stock tail on the back of the receiver and is secured by a bolt. (Modification of the receiver and gearbox is required)
The HPA Version of this Includes R3 buttstock pictured. The 12g and 33g versions do not come with the R3 Buttstock. The 12g and 33g version come with the milspec rail, whereas the HPA version comes with the 2" HPA Rail.  Please double check which kit you are needing.
Able to use both standard output HPA tanks as well as SLP (SLP recommended).
Simple zip-tie lockout/tournament lock.
Adjustable length of pull.
Same internal design as the Micro Reg™. All internals are interchangeable between Micro Reg™ GEN 2 and UGS™.
The UGS™ regulator uses only 2 o-rings, promoting reliability and ease of maintenance.
Compatible with all standard 2" diameter tanks and most 2" tank stocks used in paintball applications
Includes castle nut and all mounting hardware.
Not compatible with Fusion Engine™.

This is a great idea if you want to gun that does not need an air line or proprietary parts wish it was a bit cheaper but well worth it when its done

I installed this on my Krytac, and it's just not quite what I was expecting. The quality of the components is top-notch, but the execution on a standard TM AEG receiver isn't great. I think If I had a traditional buffer setup where the regulator housing went into the receiver further it would be better. The length of pull is super long even with a Ninja 3000 SLP Tank. The stock is super wobbly as well with the 3000 tanks, so ill have to wrap the tanks in something to keep it tight. The 15/4500 CF tank would be way better if it didn't stick so far out the back of the receiver. I would purchase one again for a different gun like an MTW or something similar.

Hey Ryan! After asking our techs about potential stock wobble with UGS on Krytac, they had mentioned that the internal washer/nut that locks your buffer tube in place could be potentially loose. With their experience with these, they have not experienced wobble on the stock themselves so they recommended that you check that everything is completely tightened. If you experience further issues with any product or with this specific situation, you can always message in to us - sales@ampedairsoft.com Thank you so much for messaging in and we appreciate all the feedback from our great customers such as yourself!
