“This bevel system easily cuts 80% of the squeal out of the gearbox, even if you are good at shimming. It's really impressive. Everyone who shoots my gun for the first time asks how I got it so quiet. And if you ware worried about performance, my gun is an ssg @ 360fps with .28s, and 38rps.
Everyone says shimming helical gears is hard. Don't be fooled. They either haven't done it and are vocally repeating someone else's failure, or they really suck at teching.
The bevel is installed and shimmed the same way any other bevel is installed. My old pinion had a grub screw, so it came off easy. The new one was put on with a vice. Watch a YouTube video on it. Simple. Don't buy the tool unless you don't have a vice.
Get this upgrade. I used it once, then bought several more to put on my backup guns and friends guns.”
