The Odin Innovations Internal Buffer Sound Dampener is constructed out of high-quality silicon rubber, this ultra-thin sleeve significantly dampen the rattling noise typically associated with hard-plastic containers (think high-cap mags), and to top it off you only loose roughly 15% of the loader's carrying capacity! That's a pretty good trade-off for the times when you need to carry extra ammo in the field while maintain your stealth-kill ratio!

“Muffles the bb sound from maracas to something much more tolerable. Not sure it should be $15, but it does what it is supposed to do and makes things much more quiet than bbs bouncing on hard plastic.”

“I've seen other reviews and claims that you lose to much ammo with this just to be quite. I tell you now, those guys are all running this and giving it bad rep so they can hear you because everybody should be running an Odin M12 speed loader by now. The sound dampener is phenomenal. It's true that you lose a little capacity but I honestly didn't notice. I was able to fill all six of my mid-caps twice. This speed loader even with the sound dampener, TRIPLED my mags. It was the same as running eighteen mags. It was extremely quite. I did modify mine slightly. I cut the folding panels where the dampener meets the loader's feeding hatch. I did not want to have to hold them out if the way while loading the Odin M12. This did allow the bbs to hit the gatch but that is my own fault. This is an absolute necessity as is tge speed loader itself.”

“It decreases rattle by about 70%. Installation was drop in, all you need is the appropriate screwdriver. I will say if you basically want to be able to carry a small amount of magazines and don't mind lugging this brick around then go for it my dude.”

“I like that it dampened the sound of all the BBS but you can still hear a good rattle in the gearbox where BBS sit”

“If you like sounding like a mad rattlesnake when running around with a Odin M12 speedloader, don't buy this. Otherwise, it's easy to install and muffles that giveaway noise from your pack.”
