I like the construction of these hopups, everything is metal and it includes a collet to keep your barrel stable. One glaring issue is the tolerances between the hop arm and the main body. It's pretty loose so shimming is necessary to keep your shots consistent. I like how they include an o-ring, but I'm not sure if it's to apply more tension to the hop slider and keep it in place, or to shim the hop arm and reduce the wiggle. Seems like a worthwhile upgrade for aeg's, but if you're looking for a hopup with a tighter chamber for hpa this one is pretty standard at around 7.6mm near the feed tube and 7.8 where the nozzle enters.

I bought this hop up for my jg ak to see if it would fit. I did run into some problems though. First off when I put the hop chamber in, it would not go back against the gearbox because the gearbox top front was sticking out. The hop up came with a screw that took the place of the that top of the gearbox. I ended up having to file down that part just to get it to go in the gearbox all the way. The next problem was that when I put the gun back together, it was impossible to adjust the hop up due to the JG ak design. I had to force on the top cover over the gearbox and it was really hard to move the lever with a small screwdriver. The main thing is that this kind of hop up is not meant for JG style ak47s. You are better off keeping the stock one or maybe getting the lonex ak hop up.
