Overall, this is a good trigger. It is machined decently, provides a light pull, and an "easy" drop-in, but it isn't without it's faults. First, it does not make contact with the safety lever inside the gearbox; this could easily be an oversight on my part on installation, but I have experienced this issue on both a F1 (in a VFC shell) and a Fusion Engine. This also may be due to the design of the "HPA" version and not the standard "AEG" version, since both those systems actually use AEG triggers. Second, I have had issues with one of the set screws (the adjustment screw that determines your trigger pull distance) consistently coming loose, most likely due to machining tolerances. This was fixed with a small dab of thread lock, but in turn this essentially eliminates the adjustment feature. Third, you may run into fitment issues with your body. Out of the two triggers I've installed, one has gone into a Madbull body and the other into an older VFC body. Both bodies have required a slight amount of filing at the trigger opening (to widen the opening) to eliminate friction and ensure a smooth action. This is my experience with two of these triggers now and both have had the same issues. Both triggers have been the "HPA" version, and it may differ with the "AEG" version. Your mileage may vary, but this is my experience with them and these are issues to be aware of when purchasing. Despite those issues I would still recommend this trigger if you are willing to do a little work and tuning, but with that said I do not agree with the price set at $30. For that price, I expect the safety to properly function and very high machining tolerances (body fitment is subjective so I don't hold that against this product). Hopefully these issues can be resolved in a revision of the trigger design. If these issues could be fixed I would undoubtedly give it five stars with no hesitation.

Hey Shane! Thanks for your review, we appreciate you giving us your honest thoughts on the product! Hopefully this can offer some sound advice for others looking to do a SPEED Trigger in their build. We have noticed that when the trigger is adjusted to a very short pull you may have to modify the safety to allow it to engage correctly. Obviously this varies from gun to gun but is something to take into account. We hope you enjoy it now that you seem to have it properly setup! Thanks, -Evan

This trigger operates more or less like an AEG trigger. The benefit is that the spring mechanism is reversed and is instead a coiled spring on the back. This makes installation much easier instead of trying to fight a trigger into the gearbox. The only drawback is the spring isn't very strong so the pull isn't that crisp but since it's HPA the trigger pull is almost non existent.
