This has to be among the best investments I have ever added to my airsoft kit. The time savings over traditional loaders pays for itself. Its super convenient. Everything about this is just fantastic. You couldn't pay me to dis it because I don't know of a way how!

I ran the Odin m12 speed loader this past weekend at a Lion Claws milsim game. It is by far the best speed loader I have ever run! I'm normally skeptical of speed loaders because for the amount of bbs they hold your better off just carrying a couple extra mags and being quiter. With the sound dampner noise isn't a concern. People will say you lose to much if the Odin's impressive capacity but, I didn't notice the loss having an impact. With the sound dampner in I was still able to reload the six mid-caps I run twice. It effectively TRIPLED my mags. It was the same as running eighteen mags. The majority of my team, Dark Horse 6, runs these speed loaders without any problems. I did get a jam but I believe that this was my fault. I may have not screwed the Odin back together properly and thus allowed it to over feed and cause excessive force. A couple bbs got crushed within the cycle and I had to tack apart the loader to clear this. Once done I reassembled and it hasn't happened since. The dismantling and reassembly of this device is extremely easy and straight forward.

It makes reloading mags a whole lot Easier

I picked up an Odin M12 from Amped Airsoft at a local event recently. Overall, the concept and build quality are fantastic. The mags click into the loader and hold nicely. However, when I initially tried to use the M12 to load my Pmags, I had a lot of trouble getting the loader to feed correctly. I resorted to using my old loader until I had the chance to look into the issue a little further. After the game, I came across a video that mentioned tightening/loosening the nut on the wheel to help the internal "clutch" better feed the bb's into the mags. I've loosened the nut a bit at this point, and the loader does feed the BB's into my mags, but it's nowhere near as easy a process as the ZShot video posted here. I'm sure it's possible that magazine spring tension and/or the internal rubber o-ring that keeps the BB's from falling out contribute to how easily the mags load so I'm going to continue to tweak the clutch tension a bit to see if I can free it up some more. I'm happy with the purchase, and would recommend it. Just beware that it may require a little work to get it functioning well.

Ahead of purchasing the Sidewinder speedloader, I'd seen videos describing how it worked, and one of the advantages was the "clutch" that would effectively stop feeding BBs once your midcap was full. In practice, my midcaps don't feed right when I try to use this auto-clutch feature--they seem overloaded and stop feeding after a single shot. So I've learned how many cranks I need for each type of midcap I'm using so as not to overload them, and with that in mind, this speedloader is really nice. However, that's a big feature that I feel doesn't work correctly, or at least not with my midcaps.

This made my airsoft experience much better, no more thumb workout, no more spilling precious bbs around, no more spending more time in the staging area than on the field. People will look at you enviously while you reload 6 mags in the time they reload one. I carry it in a double mag pouch on me and have reduced the no. of magsI carry from 9 to 6, as I can reload them at a moments notice. This is quite honestly one of the best airsoft purchases I have made recently. Just buy it, no you dont need a new barrel, your tech skill sucks.
