“I am still waiting for my order to be delivered. Had it on back order & was told stock was expected on 8th December & I should have it by Christmas I am still waiting to be contacted re delivery.”

“Appliance is neat and price was ok. Delivery was a bit of a shambles. Ordered on a Saturday and the Appliances Central website promised delivery on the Monday. On the Sunday I recieved an e-mail from them saying it had been dispatched via Allied Express with a same day delivery tracking number. No sign of it on Monday. On Tuesday called Allied who after a long wait said the tracking number was not valid. Called again being a bit more insistent and it was a valid number and the oven would be with me on the Tuesday. Called about 2pm on Tuesday and it was on its way. Called 4pm and it was being collected from Appliances Direct at 4.30pm and would be with me in 30 minutes. Arrived at about 7.30pm with a single guy in a UTE (nice man) who was unable to lift it on his own but luckily I was strong enough to help him. I think Appliances Central's view of dispatch is when they organise the courier, not when they pick it up. Lucky I work from home but would have been cheesed off if I took time off work to wait in for 2 days +.”
