“For the money, I've never come across another barbecue as well made as this. So far I've only run it on gas and it's taking some getting used to. The grill is much hotter at the back than the front due to the cross-feed tubes for lighting the left and right burners which give off a lot of heat, it seems relatively cold at the front of the grill by comparison.
It has made a great job of cooking sausages, chicken, lamb steaks, halloumi etc, but I struggled cooking chicken kebabs because the meat at the tip of the skewer cooked a lot more quickly than the meat at the base of the skewer, and flipping the skewers around isn't an option. I'm hoping it'll be better at skewers when cooking on coal as the heat distribution should be more even.”
