“We ordered this heater after reading the reviews, and needed a heater with thermostat.
Heater came quick, put gas bottle on and tried to light it, it did not even light! Had to use an external igniter and even then it struggled to light. It seems like the gas pressure to the pilot is too high as the flame when it does light keeps blowing off the pilot nozzle.
When it does light it is very affective even that’s main flame is noisy.
Would I recommend it? No I wouldn’t.”
“We’ve tried various gas heaters over the last few years none of them have ever worked that well!
This one it utter fantastic, the thermostat setting where it turns itself off (but keeps a pilot light on) and turns back on when the temperature drops is so good!
Very well made ignition system, different from the others we’ve used in the past!
Certainly worth spending the little bit extra for this and it looks very stylish!”

“Excellent performing fire , immediate impact felt and warms up the space quickly.
Looks modern and stylish.
Poor design for turning on and off , the rear door is flimsy and drops when opening. This door has to be opened to access the regulator for the on off process and it's somewhat difficult to reach around the back and operator both door and regulator.
I get the impression the hinges will give alignment issues down the line due to their under engineering.”

“My Blue Belle free-standing heater arrived as detailed. I wanted modern with a cover over the gas cylinder which this model supplies. The blue flame gives an added air of the modern when lit. I did find the instruction book difficult to read as some of the pages were stapled in upside down, so instructions lacked continuity and flow. My biggest issue has been not being able to find a way to turn it off once lit, apart that is, from opening the back and turning off the gas. There might be a way hidden in the instruction book, if there is I haven't found it. The heater is heavy so moving it to turn off is a nuisance. That aside it seems reasonable value for money as it blends in well with general furnishings and has good heat control.”
