“Only the actual burner is cast iron, the rest if the structure that supports the burner and the vessel to be heated is enamelled steel (not cast). The Enamelled ring is very slippery and it is very easy for the appliance of vessel being heated to slide off and cause an accident. I don't consider this to be a safe appliance.”
