Hi, I would like to pass on my thoughts of the sediment remover, first I bought it to remove salts from my bore water, my bore water are high in natural salts, the exercise has been a small success by removing around 20% contents of salt. As I grow Paphiopedilum Orchids which does not have a pesudobulb to retain food an moisture and fine hairy roots so you have to be very careful with what you water contents. The salts out of the bore would buildup to the stage were the roots would rot and plants die.

Thanks for the valuable feedback Peter. We haven't heard of the performance of the Greenthumbs water filter with salty bore water, but glad it had some little benefit for you. Happy growing, Chris

I have an ornamental pond and my water lilies were dying, presumably from chlorine in the water. As SOON as I began using this filter, my plants Started thriving. Very easy to use and highly recommend

Purchased this to help remove the chlorine from my tap-water for my seedlings / plants & garden. Chlorine apparently is not good for the good fungi, bacteria & micro-organisms in the soil & a lot cheaper than installing a rainwater tank. Happy with this product so far.
