“Liquid version did produce a result. Powder had no effect. Pond volume about 25 cbm Used one 180g dissolved in 10 L of water slowly added into a recirculation stream for proper mixing. Effect apparent from using similar concentration per volume of water of the liquid product was visible with significant reduction of string algae within 2 weeks. Same 2 weeks before observation for powder visually isn't noticeable. DIsclaimer - air temperature did differ between the use of liquid and powder stuff, although no precise record have been kept of water temperature in a pond.”

“After trying this product l found that it removes the blanket weed and it's very easy to use. l will be reordering some more soon so that l can maintain and keep the blanket weed from returning.”

Hello, Thanks for your honest review - we believe you are correct, as the algae blocks purify 800L per packet, as stated on the product information, so they may not have had a huge effect on your 23,000L dam. Products recommended for this size would be the 3.78L bottles of Clear for Ponds or Clean for Ponds by Aquatec. The product description for these products is available online and states that each pump suits 2000L of water, so around 12 pumps could do your dam. The bottle would clear 300,000L worth of water.
