“I found when I used the product the water turned pitch black. Then I notice the water from the waterfall shined brighter and brighter. With weekly water changes the water cleared up. Only then I notice every inch of rock was without any slime.”

“I just put in 2 gallons in a 20,000+ gallon pond 5ft deep (Jan 2009). It did turn the water more brown. I will wait and see how long it takes to clear up a little more. Has waterfall and fountain with 3 10,000/hr pumps.”

“This product does well for my ponds. It does turn the water brown for several hours, but promotes good bacteria as well as break down debris. My fish, plants, snails and tadpoles are doing well.”

“I used this product for the first time this summer inconjunction with the Microbe Lift Bacteria product. My bottle of sludge away appeared like liquid chocolate and did color my water dark brown.”
