“Fab location but the lodge felt like it was in need of some TLC. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped - the very basics and no more in the kitchen - they really want to encourage you not to bother cooking! Window handles hanging off, bathroom hooks missing etc made the lodge feel a bit sorry for itself. The sports hall (we particularly chose it as it was a 'Go Active' centre) had been turned into a gaming and fast food emporium - a tiny area of floor space was left for activities..not impressed! The pool is very bland too - not much to keep two teenagers amused. The location is great and the staff were really helpful but we were disappointed with the facilities.”

“*Caravan not as advertised on website. *Website said Towels would be provided in caravan. There was none. When asked at reception was told they have never provided towels.”

“The "entertainment" was very dated, old arcade machines, tired pool tables etc. It was like something out of the nineties. The kids activities were also embarrassingly poor”
