We stayed in the hotel during our visit to Drimsynie Estate - our first impression of the hotel were that it was outdated, the shower curtain was dirty, the sliding sash windows wouldn't stay open and the radiator was on during the nice weather. Also the food again was well over-priced and very poor quality, we ate at both the restaurant in the complex and The Goil Inn which served frozen food at prices which you would expect quality. During check-out I expressed how unsatisfactory the stay was and I could tell from the receptionist this was not the first time she has been told this. Over the years I have visited Drimsynie Estate countless times, unfortunately that will be the last.

We weren't made aware of the construction works that were going on. The site office looked right into our bedroom window and the works started early in the morning so we were woken up to workers shouting. We booked the bungalow because of it location as my dad is elderly and not particularly mobile so it was handy for the main house. He was unable to get his afternoon sleep due to the noise of the works. His medication makes him sleepy. Not ideal him having to attempt to sleep on the couch. The food in the restaurant was awful I paid over £10 for a cheese pizza which clearly came out of a packet the lasagne had big clumps of tasteless meat in it. The service was terrible the waiter came to our table 3 times with the wrong order. The Italian restaurant were told was only opened at weekends as it wasn't peak season, 10 July not peak season!! We booked the water walkers for the girls. We were told to arrive at 4 and then told we had to wait out turn as they only get once up and down the pool. Our girls got on them at 5 o'clock. Time management for this activity was poor as on the programme it appears to be over an hour activity when it's only 10 mins. Would make more sense to book in time slots than wait about for your turn it wasted over an hour of our time which we could have used doing something else. The amusements were a joke half the machines weren't on and the ones that are stole your new pound coins as they only worked with old ones no signs to advise of this. Disappointed as my partner had been here previously and loved it but clearly noticed a big difference also in things.

You need to make it clearer on your website that everything, including swimming, costs money. The leisure section was a bit of a let down too.
