“For a premium barrel, the barrel extension was too loose by several thou' in my Aero Precision upper. That is what they make Loctite 620 for. Had to bed the extension with lots of 620. The Voodoo 16.5" is a much better barrel but waaay too expensive. Loctite 620 is cheap. So, I would buy this barrel again in spite of loose fit. This Faxon pencil barrel is supposed to have modern heat treating so, when HOT, groups will open up slightly, but NOT SHIFT. Gun Jesus showed this in a recent video.”
