One of the pivot pins for the latch was not flush with the bottom of the charging handle. This made it nearly impossibly to slide all the way forward.
I took a file to the pin until nearly flush, then drove the pin completely flush with a drift and hammer.
It works very well now and am happy with the purchase.”
