“Nice finish, very precise and tight fit, threads are far out enough that a suppressor should have clearance, disappointed there is no thread cap, needs to come with a thread cap to protect threads that is the same color as the finish”
“The head space of the threads too short to fitting the comp and suppressor. When installed suppressor you will have no room to pulling slide back due to the guide rod move forward.becaue the threads too short. I bought the barrel for the comp and suppressor.but can't be used, not happy about it. The barrel thread is too short.”
The compensator the customer is trying to use is a Regency 417, which, on the manufacturer's product page states:
-The Agency Arms 417 Compensator is threaded with the standard 1/2x28 thread pitch (Overall barrel protrusion should be 0.695" +/- 0.005" for optimal fitment).
-*Compensator may require tuning of Recoil System. Designed to work with most factory-loaded ammunition but will yield the best results with heavier charged ammunition*
This is an item known to have some fitment issues with other "non-Regency" manufacturers' barrels. Unfortunately, this is not a brand we carry, and do not guarantee our parts will fit with a brand that has unique requirements for its products.
“The barrel fit and functions great. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the finish seems very thin. Its already got obvious wear from only 100 rounds through it and maybe 200 dry fire cycles. Doesn't seem like the matirial is scratching. Just wearing through the finish quickly. For the price, you can't beat it, and there's a good chance I'll buy more.”
