“The quality of Aero Precision is well known, the upper without Forward Assist is perfect, the quality is above par and the fitting is perfect. My only recommendation to Aero is to over build a bit the front pin slot for a tighter fit with the lower, this way eliminating any wobble in the front end and allowing for a tighter fit, hence, eliminating rattle.”
“Does not work well with a Noveske NSR rail. The timing of the nut was difficult, and the rail does not sit completely flush against the receiver. I thought it was the dust cover rod being too long. I ground it down to shorten it, slid the rail on, and the holes still did not line up completely. Upon further inspection the bottom of the receiver near the take down pin flared out just a tad more than the top Picatinny on the upper receiver, preventing the rail from sitting flush and the timing to be off. I would not purchase this upper receiver again. With that being said, Arm or Ally had it in stock and the price wasn't jacked up so I will be purchasing from them again. Just not this product...”
