This barrel makes my 16"CMMG barrel look bad. Extremely accurate most shots at 100 yards are interlocked. Installation was easy everything fit really enjoy shooting this gun now. Any further barrel purchases will be ballistics advantage barrels.

I will start from the beginning: I did a lot of research before buying this barrel so I knew what I wanted and had reasonable expectations for this barrel. The barrel was packaged in a sealed bag, wrapped, sealed in a tube and came with a rubber protector over the threads, I appreciated that level of protection when purchasing something that is designed for precision shooting. I installed the barrel on my upper (Aero M5), the fit was good, not too tight and not overly loose. I inspected the bore, chamber and feed-ramps and found everything to be exceptionally well machined and finished. I checked the alignment of the gas port and barrel pin and everything is perfect as one would expect. at this point I should probably share the details of the build as it pertains to the barrel/accuracy. The upper, as I mentioned, is an Aero M5, BCG is Brownells (toolcraft?) nitrided assembly, the barrel is free floated, superlative arms .750 solid (set screw) adjustable gas block, Seekins ATC muzzle brake, and lastly a Rise Armament RA434 Trigger. I took the completed rifle to the range for break in and basic accuracy testing. at this point I slapped a cheap scope on for the testing and shot from the bench with bags and a bipod at 100 yds. The rifle performed as expected from the start without too much focus. For break in, gas system tuning and zeroing, I used 20 rounds of federal match, 168gn Sierra projectile. After cleaning I shot four 3-round groups using the the same ammo and found the accuracy to be good with the largest group being 0.71" and the tightest being 0.49". The average of the four groups was 0.615". I am very pleased with this barrel and would recommend it highly to anyone looking to build a similar SR25/LR-308/M5 platform rifle. I will do some additional testing with less expensive hand loaded 150gn ammo which is what I intend to use regularly in this rifle and see if it performs as well or possibly better. Overall, the barrel lives up to the manufacturer claim of sub MOA accuracy with quality ammo and I am pleased with it. I will most likely be purchasing Ballistic Advantage barrels for my AR platforms from now on.

Still working on load development but the barrel shot about 1.1" 100 yard groups with a variety of 168 and 175 gr factory match ammo. It even does surprisingly well with 149gr XM80. So far it's looking like it prefers loads on the warm end of the spectrum. I have seen the occasional unexplained flier, but that's been as I was dialing in the gas setting on an adjustable gas block and experiencing extraction issues on a new build. Overall satisfied with the performance for the price.
