“I was looking to build a 6.5x47 Lapuafor my next benchrest barrel and I was gathering components. I knew that the Lapua Brass was the most consistent in process and case uniformity. I bought 300 cases hoping to find 75, but at least 60 cases that were within 0.1 grains of each other. I weighed all and found 139 that fit the expectations. The entire lot was within 1.1 grains and I had 207 that were within 0.2 grains. My brass prep has been eliminated, case dimensions and concentricity were close enough that fire forming will correct minor details.
Since I knew what I wanted I just needed a good price and $1.00 per case was the best deal out there. Shipping was great and I had them in just a few days. Now I just have to wait for S&S to finish the barrel. I’m like a kid waiting to grab the present out from under the tree.”
