About 40% of the brass I received for .308 jams or doesnt fit in several guns. All the brass is random with different markings on them and what I have found is if there is a Winchester 308 or Win 308 stamp on the brass it works fine. If there is any LC ## stamping on it then it doesnt work in the rifle. We have tried bolt action and semi auto with similar results. I test every round in a .308 Ammo Block and they all fit, but something is certainly wrong with a high percentage of the brass.

Hi, we're sorry to see you're having some difficulty with this brass. If you're not familiar with working with military brass, it's much different than commercial brass. Most all 7.62x51 military brass has to be full length resized and it helps if you use a small based die. We do offer roll sizing, and that would have likely solved much of the problem you're having. Unfortunately not all case gauges are created equal. Sheridan makes a great gauge.

This is worth it. A little work to re-size the first time. I lightly grease the outsides and use the back side of a drill bit to round the opening if needed. They can be reloaded many times as this is good brass. Also I counted my brass and they did give me 5% extra for dinged cases. I have ordered through Monmouth before and have always been treated well. Thank you Monmouth. might have to try a barrel some day.

Received an order of 1300 rounds of Lake City brass. About 70 percent was '09, with about 10 percent '12, 10 percent '13, and the rest assorted years(post 2000). There were just a couple of WWC mixed in, but overall, it was money well spent.
