“Ordered LC, but more non LC. Also paid for polishing, but received cleaned brass instead. 85% of rounds need .0030 or more trimmed to be in spec BEFORE sizing. I have a really bad feeling I will be getting ALOT of split necks after 1 reloading. I suggest buying sorted LCLR from another source.”
“I recently ordered 2 bags of 250 .308 LC brass. I wanted very much to order 1 pack of 500 but it said it was sold out. The computer would let me get 2 packs of 250 though. I don't understand the difference, other than the price. I couldn't buy 500 for the sale price of $60 but I could buy 2 packs of 250 for $75. Then it comes in the mail as a box of 500. Not to big a deal but kind of like a little slap in the face. Also it was supposed to be LC brass and instead I received a mixture of LC, PMJ, and something else. All in all I can make it work; it is better than nothing, but not pleased with being overcharged and not receiving exactly what I ordered.”
“Order came in good time. Out of 2600/ 308 only 1 223 and 1 crushed 308. All brass was clean. Will order again. Would like to see some LC or WCC match in my next order LOL”
“Took my time with 500 rounds to evaluate the overall quality. Out of 500 rounds received, about 450 were useable - which is fine. Various reasons such as significant impacts / gouges to the lower areas, neck dents beyond recovery caused 50 or so to be thrown away. Interestingly, about 5 shells (about 1%) appear to have been seriously overpressured - enough to bubble the primer and bulged so much as to not even fit in the sizing die. I bet that was an interesting round on the range.
Once they had been cleaned, resized, trimmed, and swaged, they fired with amazing consistency in my Rem 700. 2nd fired brass looks good as well.
Overall, these are a good buy. Just understand that they will need your attention and time to process. If you have the equipment, patience, and time, they are a good investment. I will purchase again.”
“Aside from USPS being the typical worst rated shipping carrier and it taking a week longer due to them loosing a box of 1300 brass 7.62x51 casings that weighed at least 50 pounds (sounded like someone just didn't want to lift it). The brass arrived intact with about 25% LC 30% Winchester 40% PCM and 5% 5.56 LC brass. All NATO head stamped like stated and only about 5 pieces of brass that had to be thrown away. Cleaned up nicely with SS media. I will be shopping here for any and all future brass orders. Just be cautious about USPS and review Monmouth brass's guide to dealing with them. I wish UPS or FedEx would be used, I would pay the difference if any as most time they are cheaper but at least I know they would arrive on time when paid for 2 day shipping instead of a week and a half later.”
