“I purchased 1,000 38 spl brass. It is exactly what I expected them to be. I paid the extra money to have them polished. To say they are polished is an exaggeration. They are clean and by all means good enough to start the reloading process. I am picky and prefer a bright and smooth polish on my brass to ease loading, ejecting and finding on the range.”
“My order for 'once fired' nickel plated brass was delivered in a reasonable amount time. I did receive exactly 511 pieces of brass for the order of 500. Only two were live, wadcutter, rounds.
I don't think it contained all 'once fired' brass. In fact few rounds would be considered 'once fired'. Evidenced by stress fractures around the mouth and brass that contained spent primers of a different color material (brass primers in a nickel plated case). Some cases were worn to the point of the underlying copper starting to show on the case. Some cases were also swollen (bulging) much more than you could expect from 'once fired' brass.
In fairness, there were some cases of a high grade nickel plate and were of good quality. Most marked as "+P" cases. These cases were very easy to spot visually with a brighter appearance. In a sizing dye they are of noticeably greater density.”
“I ordered 3000 rounds of once fired brass on a Thursday after noon and expected it to show up on Wednesday or Thursday of the next week. I left to go up north on Friday to put up some tree stands. On Saturday after noon I got a call from home that my brass had arrived.
I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I think that is a very fast turn around. The brass looks great and I will order more in the future.”
