“This is my second review of the processed 9 mm brass, which after using 6K pieces of I am still very pleased with. Flawless brass is critical for anyone using an automated reloading press. Depriming the cases and then wet tumbling them to clean the primer pockets is required, which is a lot of work.
Processed brass comes already deprimed and cleaned. Condition is as good or better than that produced by my many hours bending over, lifting, and getting dirty and wet. Cost is nominal compared to the labor, and is a very viable option.”
“This brass runs very smoothly in my xl750 and my reloading results are very consistent. I have been shot several matches recently after switching to arm or ally processed brass and it cycles flawlessly. I would definitely reccomend.”
“When I went to an automated reloading press after many years with a manual progressive press, I soon found out that having flawless brass is critical. This means first depriming the cases separately -- then wet tumbling them to clean the primer pockets -- before they can be reliably used to asssemble rounds. So after the job of collecting dirty brass off the ground at the range, a lot more work is needed before it can be used.
I recently placed an order here for "processed" brass, which comes deprimed and cleaned to be ready for the press. Condition of the first 1.5K pieces I have so far inspected (yes, you still must inspect before using) is as good or better than that which last year I spent many hours bending over, lifting, and getting dirty and wet to produce.
"Processed" brass is not free like the range-pickup stuff, but at my age of 66 the cost is nominal compared to the labor. Anyone doing automated reloading should consider it very viable option.”
