7.62x39 Brass | AK-47 Brass Reviews

THE Bummer: Monmouth's listing for 7.62x39mm was misleading when compared to their other once-fired rifle case listings. Using my mobile phone, I ordered 500 once-fired 7.62 NATO and what I thought was 1000 once-fired 7.62x39mm cases. The reason I thought I ordered 1000 cases of once fired 7.62x39mm was the drop-down menu, cleaned brass option, and the price. I figured at $81.95 I was getting 1000 cases and not 250. I can buy brand new PPU from Grafs for about an additional eight (8) cents a piece. Silly me, I failed to notice the details in their description that indicated 7.62x39mm was sold in 250 cases per lot. I should have known better - if it is too good to be true, it isn't. This is a cut and paste from my paypal receipt which also had me thinking I ordered 1000 cases. 7.62x39 Brass | AK-47 Brass ( Cleaning Options ($ 10.00): 1000 ) Item# RAK47250 $81.95 USD 1 $81.95 USD Lake City 762 x 51 (.308) ( select-quantity: 500, Cleaning Option ($ 10.00): Up to 500 ) Item# R762LC500 $54.49 USD 1 $54.49 USD THE GOOD - Jeff promptly answered my questions, cleared up my misunderstanding of the ad, and refunded the difference between cleaning 250 and 1000 cases. He also offered accept a return and a full refund of my money. I told Jeff I would keep the cases and chalk it up to a lesson learned. Let my failure to pay attention to details, prevent the same from happening to you. Keep your powder dry! Shannon

Ordered some "dirty" unprocessed 762x39 brass, arrived about a week later. It was much cleaner than cleaned/processed brass I've purchased from other companies. A few had dings and a few bent necks but straightened out well while decapping. Took a real nice polish with a tumbler and some stainless steel media, primer pockets still a little dirty but the rest looks almost new now.

I reload 7.62x39 brass with jackened and lead bullets. I need quality brass for this. I got once fired mostly winchester brass, I didn't get cleaned brass because I have a "shaker" for cleaning brass. it resized good(it fits my case gages after resizing) and it worked in my AR-15 upper in 7.62x39 with no problems. the brass got here quicker than I throught it would, and yes. I'm happy about that. If I need brass again, I'll give Monmouth the first shot at my order(if they have it) I shoot many different calibers(rifles and pistols.

I don't know if it's just me, or is brass getting harder to find??? Fortunately, Monmouth brass had what I needed! Good brass, cleaned cheap and found no problems with my order! As long as it's available, I will definitely buy more!! Thanks, Monmouth!

My order arrived promptly and safely by insured Priority Mail. Brass is much better than advertised, minimal dings or wear throughout the lot. Although I ordered uncleaned brass, it was as shiny and polished as brand new factory ammunition. By far the best source of rifle brass I have found, my compliments for all of your hard work in providing the industry's finest!

Brass arrived exactly as described, with a few extra to cover for any bad ones. 7.62x39 brass is hard to find but these guys have it and it arrived just after a few days shipping. Pleasure doing business with you and will be back for more. Thanks! Alan in KS

I got 500 rnds. of 7.62 × 39 and it showed up in 3 days and there were no Berdan, steel, tarnished, dents, dings, grit, dirt, dented mouths and even finger prints on these cases !!! I took them right to the press and deprimed and sized right away without tumbling.Note: I had them sent "Dirty". I'm very happy with ALL of my Monmouth purchases, pistol through rifle cases.
