“Simply the best. I’ve used this adjustable gas block on 3 ars, and they work like a charm. You can tune the amount of gas to reduce recoil, and ensure perfect function (I usually adjust the gas block until the spent brass ejects at 4’oclock). But BEWARE! in my experience, these gas blocks come with the adjustment screw in the fully closed position, so you need to open up the adjustment (counter clockwise) a few clicks before using. I didn’t realize this the first time (didn’t think it was all the way closed even though it was, and ended up breaking the adjuster in the fully closed position, making the ar basically a bolt action). Otherwise, these work great! Have tried others, and these are the best!”
“Excellent product, necessary for building an AR10. If you are going to dimple your own barrel to install this gas block check out the dimpling jig made by SLR. Takes all the guesswork out of dimpling on your own.”
“I’ve switched all AR platform guns to the SA bleed off blocks in prep for suppressed shooting. Love the adjustability and positive click settings. Easy to know where the block is set. Very repeatable. I run Geissele 42 buffer springs and H1 buffers. Two revolutions out worked well for all hot/normal loads in 223/556, 6.5 Grendel and 6.5 Creedmoor. Low cost, low power target loads require another .5 to 1 turn out. Suppressors still in stamp prison, so haven’t learned the suppressed tendencies yet.”
“Fit and finish are great. Put it on a Radical Firearms 18” in .223 Wylde and seems to work great. Tuning was real easy even with a 15” hand guard and mid length gas system.”
