“Just like my previous order from ARM orALLY, the DLC 224 Valkyrie BCG arrived well packaged and very quickly. The DLC coating is very slick, the fit and finish on the product is what you'd expect from toolcraft and I have had a chance to take it out to the ranch and got about 30 rounds through it and as expected works just fine and I fully expect it to function perfectly for a very long time. I look forward to doing more business with arm or ally.”
“This is a very nice BCG for the $. Does what it's supposed to do. I'm especially liking the Diamond Like Coating. (DLC) If you can get it without paying a big markup over other BCG's with different finishes then why not? I prefer it to phosphate, black nitride/melonite, and even nickel boron finishes. It just produces a smoother and slicker surface than other finishes and it seems to be very durable and cleans easily. IMO nothing not to like about it for the price this BCG commands.”
“Functions well in 224 upper. The coating is nice, very smooth and slippery, but has only been fired a couple of dozen times. Seems to retain lubricant very well, but it is on all surfaces of the BCG, including high friction areas like against the bolt gas rings, which also made sliding the bolt in the new carrier more difficult due to the texture, but it has loosened with use.”
“Very good BCG the DLC coating is very slick and the carrier is well put together. The gas key is properly torqued and staked and the bolt headspaced perfectly to my faxon barrel. For the money you spend this is a good value and very reliable.”
