“Overall, a great product. While a few more parts to install, it's still easy and quick to do. I've been running a LaRue tactical MBT2S and I will say that the take up is a little more rough (might smooth out even it reaches a higher round count and is cycled more) and the reset is about the same as the LaRue, which to me is not all that strong and I think the Hiperfire has a bit longer reset. The break is great and I think it's a pretty good balance in take up for a multi purpose rifle, keeping in mind that the trigger doesn't require all that much force to go bang, but it's not overly sensitive as some other models and brands and the red springs will help a little with that if it's a concern. When just cycling the action without the upper, the hammer fall isn't strong, but once the toggle kicks in, there is a noticeable increase in power. The way that this trigger system functions is much like a compound bow, takes a lot of force to get the hammer moving back, but once it reaches a certain point, it basically falls into place with minimal force. Hiperfire also mentions that these triggers has a "debris pump" built in at the disconnector to help remove any debris that may build up, so there's yet another plus for increased reliability. They're different triggers, they're not Geissele or LaRue, in some ways better (hammer force, break), and others (initial smoothness and reset) not so much.”
