“One of the two panels arrived with a defective EC8 connector (one of the two leads on its cable was disconnected from the EC8). However, Nick promptly sent me a pack of EC8s (on his dime!) and I replaced the defective connector. In my limited testing, the best output I've gotten (into the Apex) was ~64 watts in direct, noon sunlight. As I discussed with Nick, those EC8s are gonna be trouble. Otherwise, the panels appear to be well-made.”
“This fits perfect with the Kodiak Solar generator, I added this 6th panel since I will be attaching 2-3 batteries to the Kodiak, shipping was fast as can be for a large panel , they got it out the door the day after I ordered it. The XXL Faraday bags I also ordered fit over the Kodiak Solar Generator fine and adds an extra layer of protection when it is in storage. Overall this is a great company to deal with and I will order from them again with no hesitation, plus I like the videos they have on their Youtube channel that show the hookup instructions for the flexible solar panels.”
