“I got mine and was disappointed at first since the buckle teeth would just slip out of the holes when the hinged metal bit was between the outer belt and inner adjustable layer; and I couldn't get the hinged part on the outside because the two layers of belt wouldn't fit through. Eventually though I used pliers to straighten the hinged part and pushed the hook down a little with a hammer, and now it works very well. I assume the metal just got a bit bent out of shape through use or something. Anyway, nice and robust and the star is way cool.”
