“These canteens are so practical, they are made of a tough plastic like the British canteens but being so slim, they fit into a jacket pocket. The cup is a useful size to drink from, not being too large like most canteen cups. This is my go to canteen and cup for walks and day trips. Tough as but so easy to take anywhere and so practical to use the cup as a pot to boil your water.”
“I bought this to fit a narrow side pocket of my pack. While the bottle isn't super lightweight (and less than 1 litre) I liked the aluminium cup. It's nice to drink from and can boil enough water for a freeze dries meal. Together, they make a useful combination. The only factor to keep in mind is that the cup is quite small and required some careful placement to make sure it didn't fall off my stove.”
