“Thought I would purchase this jacket for hunting/fishing, wasn't sure if I selected the right size but fits well with some room for another warm layer if needed. “I need a range of different jackets being an outdoors person. This is the one I like the most.
The zip chest pockets are brilliant, the waist pockets are nice and big. The secondary layer under the shoulder's keeps them warm and stops you getting stiff. The arms are roomy and the material keeps out chilly wind's without overheating. The material is not waterproof but I may try water proofing it at some stage. It's a tough fabric but very comfortable.
The other great feature is the big button up bum pocket at the back. A good place to carry a water proof outer if there is a downpour.
It's a great hiking, camping and hunting jacket.
Fits my broad shoulders fine which is unusual, without being oversized baggy.
I have the Swiss jacket too but the pockets are clunky, the waist is to high to keep your waist and bum warm. It's a good jacket but not nearly as thoughtfully executed as the 94 dpm smock.
Truly a classic. It will break my heart if I wear it out and have to throw it away. Probably never find another one in my size now. Damn it.”
