“Just taken delivery and very pleased with this item. Would rate it almost "good as new" rather than "used very good" - whoever this was issued to looked after it ! It lacks the shine of a new garment and I could only find a tiny mark on one sleeve so no qualms about the appearance.
Definitely close fitting and good advice to go up a size if possible (I got the XL). The armpit and torso zips assist in donning/doffing the garment.
Surprisingly warm for such a thin garment (I think the outer shell boosts the effectiveness of the fleece lining) and have already used it on morning walks as an outer over a merino thermal top (still chilly here in SE Australia in spite of it being Spring). Should really come into its own as aneasliy packable mid-layer whuich is what it is designed for. Colour is compatible with most camo, but no rank slides/velcro patches mean it doesn't scream out "military surplus" in public settings.
Lastly I priced a new one of these from the UK at GBP 58.00/AUD 114.00 (freight to Australia not included) which makes this item very good value indeed.”
