These ones are definitely newer than the first pair I bought but oddly the Adidas tag on my first pair is not present on this new pair. That's ultimately irrelevant though.
These are easily my number one shorts for any and all means of exercise, Particularly great for leg day. You'll sitting on the floor before these shorts restrict your range of movement in a squat. When the listing says these puppies are SHORT they aren't joking. They also double as great lounging shorts on those stinky summer afternoons.
At 5'7" with a more narrow waistline I got XSmall and they're actually longer than the first pair I got (Tag says 6 and the older ones say 5). The elastic is very forgiving, plenty of room for larger waist, so you'll probably be more concerned with the length than fit.
I'm never a fan of shorts having those liners in them which these also have. However, these shorts have a cotton-like liner in them which I never really notice so no bother there.
The only real con I'll give these shorts is the single right buttock pocket. It's rather shallow. Keys and phone can fit but at the cost of some exposed backside. I can only see this being an issue for people wanting to run with their phones.”
