“So, it’s an obsolete US LBV when chest rigs are all the rage! But if you’re not a wannabe SF Operator take a closer look:
* Quality. Hey, it’s GI = extremely robust, well made and mine was brand spanking new!
* Price. I couldn’t find anything even remotely close to the price for the quality you get.
* Versatility. OK, so it’s a load bearing vest, but…remove the belt and you’ve got a great battle-belt or re-rig the whole contraption to a chest rig. If you want to use the two parts separately, just add some straps to the back of the vest to replace the belt.
