“This coat has served me well over this winter so far, it’s quite warm, and fits well. The only thing I’d do differently is order a belt to go with it, since the rear adjustment semi-belt has exactly 2 settings and neither is very good. The wide setting means the coat acts more like a dress given it only hangs from my shoulders and the thin setting has a tail and is only a few inches thinner. Instead I ordered a Sam Browne belt and it looks great.”
“Just like the title says. This product arrived a full WEEK EARLY from the projected date, which in itself was amazing!
The overcoat itself is in incredible quality for its age. Interior lining is intact, and the fabric overall has minimal damage besides the expected wear and tear. The only tear I found was in the lower neck/shoulder line, but it was just from a very small removed metal bracket, NOT a seam tear. The size was accurate as well! Do be aware that the sleeve style of this particular type of jacket is much larger than contemporary coats.
I would recommend dry-cleaning your jacket, and pre-purchasing mothball substitutes to remove the smell. Again, not an unexpected issue, and definitely not the fault of the seller.
