“I ordered item BR1009 for my Jeep Cherokee XJ. I looked everywhere for one similar and really liked the price plus they were located in my backyard. Installing the bracket was a little difficult in that we didnt know which way it needed to be welded to the frame but we got it in and believe it works well. I have not taken the xj out for any 4x4ing but I am sure it will perform just fine.”
“The teardrop design is very nice. If your using it on the bottom of a frame rail and angled out nothing hangs off. Also they work great mounted to the side of a frame with good access to the nut.”
“Like the upper frame links Id use an old JJ to keep the spread where you want it while welding and the holes will likely need a pass with a 916 bit. Kind of wish the skid plate portion jigsawed into the rest of the brace better too.”
