“If theres anything easy about swapping a super duty 60 into an XJ or TJ its the decision to use the artec swap kit. Everything fit together well. And made of pure beef. Artec could charge more for the kit and it would be worth it. Another guy was doing the same swap into his xj and he decided he was going to make his own swap kit. I had mine done and wheeling before he ever got his figured out and ended up having to redo it because his failed. Artec took all the guess work out of swapping in a SD60 into an xj. Once all the welding work was done it bolted right in with no issues. Now my next project is buying the artec full hydro ram mount and going full hydro. Thanks Artec for making yet another pure beef product”
“Bought this truss for a one ton swap (duh) on my XJ. Overall fit and finish was great I ordered the Johnny joint option and didnt end up using it due to a change of plans. Went with a 3 link instead and used Ruffstuff parts. The only gripe I have is that when I called and asked to trade out the Johnny joints for the 3 link tower the rep I talked to was kinda rude. I offered to Pay shipping both ways on both items as well as deal with the cost of the Johnny joints AND the 3 link tower (Johnny joints were 100 to total cost 3 link tower was -35 to total cost I asked for no refunded difference).. I was pretty much told that I couldnt do that and that I shouldve made sure my order was what I wanted before I placed it. Me being human and humans make mistakes I had forgotten that I can see into the future and overlooked the not so apparent issues I ran into -... Overall 4.5 stars. Id recommend it to everybody just dont expect any compromise from Artec when plans change on your build.”
“I installed this kit onto my super duty axle that I put under my cherokee. I am always impressed with Artec their parts are cut and bent so perfect I almost dont want to instal them they are so nice. Very happy with this kit.”
“Truss is nice but the width of coil spring perches shock mounts and lower control arms are A LOT. I will not be running this setup on my Jeep after mocking it up and looking at it. Horrible alignment. I am baffled artec says this works I would not trust the coil springs at that rake and I have long arms with heims and those are maxed out. IMHO coilovers and new arms are required with this kit. Which is a lot of Fabing for an out of the box ready kit.”
“The set up was super easy with the provided directions and for the axle perfectly Made setting up the front end on my mj 100x easier and even upped the looks too If youre thinking of buying one for your 60 do it. You wont be disappointed”
“I am very happy with this uts instructions are really nice one of the best in my opinion i was a little sad when i has to wait longer due to thwm running out of the daystar bushings but i mean that speaks for itself they make so many they didnt have enough overall very happy”
