“The quality and fit was perfect. It took some time getting the part cut out for the third member but with some time and a plasma cuter it came out great.”
“Overall the quality of this truss is excellent in design and pretty good in fabrication. My biggest complaint is that the website description and photos indicate that the 10 gauge panels are dimple died -- mine were not Having the holes dimple died would add strength and help minimize warping of the 10 gauge during welding. I ended up taking the time to press the dimples myself rather than complain and return the truss to Artec. I would also recommend adding additional instructions for those who might be tempted to weld the upper portion of the truss away from the axle and then weld the solid truss to the axle. If you elect to take this approach it is very important to make sure the truss is firmly attached or welded to the welding table. Otherwise it warps quite easily.”
