“I bought this truss because it is one of the few available for my application (with modifications). I am reinforcing a 2002 F-150 (Sterling) 9.75 axle for use on a desert prerunner. This is a VERY common Ford axle on the F-150 that came with the 5.4 Liter V8. I use aftermarket leaf-springs and 16 bypasses in the rear versus a linked rear end so I had to do some serious fabrication to shorten the truss about 5 on each side so as not to interfere with the leaf-spring perches. I was able to use the provided metal to do this. I also needed to move my limit strap double sheer mounts around to the front of the axle to clear the truss. I liked the quality of the kit and the fast and reasonable shipping from Artec Industries. This will make my axle housing strong enough for the jumps and abuse prerunning dishes out and pares well with my re-gearing and 35 tires. Thanks”
