“The only issue I had with this set up was the very ends of the top plate hitting the welds where the knuckle meets the axle tube. And being that every axle is slightly different that was not an issue for me to grind just a small amount off of the ends which was needed anyways for proper weld prep. Tight enough tolerances to let the pieces get moved to the right angle but not so tight to where anything had to be cut or ground down to make it work and line up. Very good balance. I prefer this truss because at the time of this posting most other manufacturers use 316 or even 18 plate for the webbing and that just doesnt sit right with me considering large axles like these are not going to be running factory size tires on the road. Havent had it long enough to be tested thoroughly but I do believe that I wont have any issues with this truss in the long run. Thanks Artec”
“I was disappointed with the customer service when I ordered the axle truss. I was told it would be shipped to me within 3 days. I did not recieve the parts for a week and a half and by the time I did recieve the product it had went on sale which would have saved me almost 70 dollars. I contacted Artec about this and they said there was nothing they could do. When I did finally recieve the parts the packaging was broken open and small pieces were missing. The parts that I did recieve were a quality product though.”
“Well designed truss setup. I really like the way it acts like a giant skid ramping up to protect your ram and arms. Should add alot of extra strength to my front housing and make my link setup really easy Over all I am very happy although for some reason the front plate in front of the diff has bolt holes that dont line up with the skid itself like it is supposed to. I think someone better slow down a little when drilling holes and double check their work before shipping out the product. For that you dont get 5 stars.”
“This was the first artec anything I bought. I was impressed by the pic on the site but even more so in person. It is everything I needed in my buggy. It protects my steering ram and reinforces the whole axle. If your hard on your stuff this is the way to go.”
