“First of all this truss is HEAVY DUTY and very easy to install if you have a JK. I would say IMHO this is by far one of the best Truss Kits on the market. The only thing ARTEC needs to do to make this a 5 star rating is supply instructions for an XJ HP30 with pictures of complete axle. I would also include the passenger upper control mount. ARTEC actually sent me a drawing with dimensions to cut and remove my factory mount and weld it back on to the truss. Well Done ARTEC”
“Ive been having trouble with the stock rubber bushings walking in the axle for years. I had the axles out of the jeep and figured I would fix the problem once and for all. I had looked at other solutions. One that just replaced the rubber bushings with poly or johhny joints. Also looked at a couple of trusses with poly bushings. Finally one of the guys on the SocalXJ email list pointed me at Artec. I had the truss a few days after ordering. The truss was easy to fit to the axle and self aligned. It was easy to install with a 220v welder. The hard part was welding to the cast iron which was accomplished with a prepost heat using mapp gas. This is definitely a fix for the XJ thats been a long time waiting. The price is right quality is excellent and it fixes the bushing walking problem and adds strength to the marginal D30. Well worth the money.”
“As always another well designed quality truss from artec I own 4 diff trusses from them. Only issues is that it took over a month to get here and shipping costs were a little high considering this truss doesnt weigh much and is a fairly small package. Also I think they should include the currie insert tool for the pressed in Johnny Joint option.”
