“A very good tour. The local team, led by Ionut Martel, was excellent. Good range of hotels, interesting meals, and great sights. Transylvania has a fascinating history, and has some towns that have a real medieval feel.
For me the cycling could have been a little more adventurous/mountainous, but of course these tours have to cater for all types. The cycling highlight was the day devoted to climbing the Transfagarasan Pass, a special extra that our guides were happy to arrange. Spectacular and memorable.”
