Hi Lee, this is disappointing, I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to get the effect you were after. It does take some practice to get it right when using a new tool. To make 'uneven' pools of paint to create the effect of natural waves, you need to gradually change the amount of paint by squeezing a little bit harder as you move the applicator along.
