“The Atelier Matte Varnish worked well and gave a good, smooth, fully-matte finish. It was a little thick and difficult to apply, so I brushed quickly, using a soft hake brush.
I was so pleased I decided to return to Art Shed and get the Atelier Satin varnish. That worked brilliantly and gave my acrylics the glow and soft satin sheen I have been looking for. Another brand of "satin" I had tried was too shiny and thick and had a blobby finish, which is why I started with matte this time.”
“I find this an excellent varnish when used according to directions on the bottle. (It DOES pay to read these prior to use!!) I generally use at least 2 coats.”
