Also the long handles give you a firm grip.

“I loved doing stenciling with these brushes. They are just about foolproof. Nothing got under the stencil even though I was using very thin paint. They are strong and firm and seem to bounce of the paper. I thoroughly enjoyed the stenciling I did with them and there was no frustration as there had been with my other cut down for stenciling brushes. I like the smallest brush the best. It gives me excellent control and it is not available in the other mont marte stencil brush set. I'm happy I decided to get them.”
