“At The Makers we run quite a few Mixed Media classes with Journaling and Canvas. Liquitex White Gesso and Gel Medium are used all the time in our classes and is very popular with students. It covers well and is lovely and smooth. The Gesso drys quickly and can be written on by most felt tip pens and pencils. The Art Shed were wonderful to order through and very fast.”
“I purchased this specifically to prepare fine Bible pages for Bible Art Journaling.
Because of the fineness of the India Paper used in Bibles, those of us who are using wide margin bibles for this purpose need to use two coats of gel medium to prepare the page to stop bleed through with stamps and pens etc. I am waiting for another of these products to clear a strike at docks overseas, so this is a good alternative till it is available.
