“I love to add texture and some understated glimmer. This product is the most versatile glass bead product I have used. After I have finished my underpainting and I have worked out my focus I absolutely love to use texture in some areas to move the eye towards a focal point. This can be mixed with your paint or used on top of your work in the areas you want to direct attention. This second use is so important because if like myself you like to work o the fly, at times my intended focal point can change. So I would use it directly above. It goes on like an opaque colour but dries completely clear. However it causes the colour (mixed in or below) to bounce the light around and give the most beautiful changes of light and colour. It really is my "secret weapon". If you work in abstracts or wish to apply resin, of boy, just wait and then move your artwork in the light and watch the colours.
